Kids Room interior design in Pune
A children's room has to change faster than any other room in the house. Designing for a five-year-old and a fifteen-year-old at the same time is the actual brief.

We build the fixed elements for the long term and keep the flexible ones cheap to replace.
Fixed versus flexible
Wardrobe, study position and electrical points are fixed and should be planned for a teenager. Bed, desk surface and colours can change every few years and should be inexpensive to replace.
Storage a child can use
Low units a child can reach, open shelves at their height, and bins that can be pulled out. Storage that only an adult can access does not get used.
Safety and durability
Rounded edges on joinery at child height, no climbable drawer stacks, scrubbable paint and matte laminates. Nothing that needs specialist cleaning, and no glass at floor level.

Kids Room — common questions
- Should I build a bunk bed?
- Only if the room genuinely needs two sleeping positions. A bunk removes flexibility and is difficult to change; a single bed with a trundle is more adaptable in most Pune bedrooms.
- What height should the study desk be?
- 740 to 760 mm is comfortable for an adult and most secondary-school children. For younger children, specify an adjustable desk rather than a fixed one.
