Park-Side Calm — 3BHK Apartment, Koregaon Park
A lane off North Main Road, a family of four, and a flat handed over with a plan that put the kitchen door in the path of the dining table. The design rebuilt the circulation before touching a single finish.
- Location
- Koregaon Park
- Type
- Apartment · Residential
- Area
- 1,750 sq ft
- Duration
- 13 weeks

The clients had lived in the flat for a year and knew exactly what annoyed them: no place to put down bags at the door, a dining table that blocked the kitchen, and a wardrobe that could not take sarees. The brief was storage, circulation, and a home that still looked calm after two children came home from school.
What we changed
- Replanned the entry to create a 600 mm shoe and bag unit with a seat, taking space from an oversized passage rather than from the living room.
- Rotated the dining table 90 degrees and moved the kitchen doorway 400 mm to clear the circulation path — a change only possible because the wall was non-load-bearing.
- Built a full storage wall opposite the seating with concealed cable routing for the television, router and set-top box.

Outcome
Delivered in 13 weeks with the plan changed twice before site work. The clients report the entry is the single change that made the flat feel larger.
